I had to write to say how pleased we were with Pearl and Ricky who definitely went the 'extra mile' to make sure we came back to a serene home. Arriving home at 8.30pm we found supplies of bread and milk, two mugs and spoons thoughtfully placed on the counter and the kettle filled, ready to go, and a saucepan of Ricky's home made soup! | I am thinking of taking a week away in July. Smithy and Bumper were so happy with their care last time, that I am wondering if the same chap, Gordon, would be available? I have recommended Rest Assured to some of the mums from school as they knew how worried I had been about finding good care for the dogs. | Our dogs had both just had a small operation and our cat is elderly with a few health concerns. We felt totally at ease when we were away knowing that Helen was taking good care of them. I booked Elaine for four nights to look after my two dogs, (bouncy boxer and aged spaniel). I had used Rest Assured once in the past and was very impressed so had no hesitation booking again.
The arrangement was for Elaine to arrive on the Saturday morning to meet and greet – but life is never that straight forward! Elaine arrived, of course, of that there was never any doubt, the problem was that she also arrived to a house that had just been burgled. The house was a mess, the wife in shock and Meg the boxer, was weeing on the lounge carpet, what a welcome! Needless to say the kettle went on and Elaine swung into action.
This probably sounds all very far fetched, but I use it to explain that however worried or concerned you may be about leaving your pets behind – don’t be. I would not hesitate recommending Rest Assured and can’t heap enough praise on Elaine’s effort and help over a very traumatic period.

This is our first experience of using this type of service, since one or other of our sons have in the past, been able to look after the house and animals for us. Since they are now married and have animals and properties of their own, this proved on this occasion, to be impractical, so we were pleased that you could provide us with the comfort of knowing that the house and cats were being well looked after. This obviously made our holiday more relaxed and enjoyable. Should we need your services sometime in the future, we would be happy to ask you to look after the house and animals again. Thanks again.
